The Nuggets win in Miami and caress their first ring

MADRID, 10 Jun. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Denver Nuggets fell just one victory away from winning the first NBA title in its history after beating the Miami Heat at home (95-108) in the fourth game of the Finals (3-1), again with a excellent meeting of Nikola Jokic.

The Serbian center finished with a ‘double-double’ of 23 points and 12 rebounds, to which he added four assists and three steals, and together with Jamal Murray -15 points and 12 assists- and Aaron Gordon -27 points- he commanded the attack of those from Colorado, who once again left those from Florida in less than 95 points.

Murray also made history by becoming the second player in history after Magic Johnson to get 10 or more assists for the fourth consecutive game or more in the NBA Finals.

Miami, meanwhile, stayed at a meager 8-25 in triples and grabbed only the 25 points from Jimmy Butler and the good condition of Bam Adebayo, who signed a ‘double-double’ of 20 points and 11 rebounds but failed in some key possessions of the last quarter, when his team was only five points behind.

The fifth game of the Finals, which could decide the ring in favor of the Nuggets, will be held at dawn from Monday to Tuesday -2:30 p.m. in Spain- in Denver.
