The North Face collaborates with London-based artist Alfie Kungu on his iconic NSE collection

MADRID, 2 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The ‘outdoor’ brand The North Face presents its latest collection NSE (‘Never Stop Exploring’) in collaboration with the English artist, based in London, Alfie Kungu, which reinterprets iconic garments and reflects the parallels between the urban world and the nature with striking colors.

Known for his abstract yet playful works, Alfie Kungu draws on his Yorkshire, Northern England roots and love of the outdoors to create designs with a kaleidoscopic view of nature.

Pieces include reimagined classics like the Rusta Puffer Jacket, Gartha Fleece Pant, Denali Seasonal Jacket, Fleeski Bucket Hat and Etip Recycled Gloves, allowing you to see the world through the experimental lens in these coming winter months. Kungu.

Alfie uses his art as a medium to illustrate the humility of nature, also depicted in the short film to showcase the new collaboration, where you can truly see winter through the British artist’s eyes.

For Kungu, the functioning of nature “is through different scales”. “It’s humiliating for humanity. You realize you’re not at the center of everything, man, you’re just a small part of a big environment where a lot is going on,” he said.

The North Face NSE collection is available online at www.thenorthface.com and in select stores starting this Wednesday, November 2.
