The 'Leones7s' and 'Leonas7s' finish eleventh and twelfth in Dubai

The Spanish men's rugby seven team finished eleventh in the first series of the HSBC World Series, the circuit of the 12 best teams in the world of the Olympic discipline, in Dubai (United Arab Emirates), while the women's team finished in twelfth position.

The 'Leones7s' have shown great improvement compared to the group stage and closed their participation eleventh after beating Canada 19-14 in their last game. Paco Hernández's team was able to recover from the tough first day in Dubai, although they lost in the first match this Sunday against France (26-12).

For their part, the 'Lioness7s' have seen how a great second half by Great Britain condemned them to twelfth position (26-12), after losing to South Africa (17-0) in the fight for the final for ninth place .

Both the men's and women's teams will compete next week, on December 9 and 10, in the second tournament of the World Series, which will be held in Cape Town (South Africa).
