The last two days of LaLiga Santander and LaLiga SmartBank will be on a unified schedule

MADRID, 4 May. (EUROPA PRESS) –

LaLiga has confirmed this Thursday that, “as usual in previous seasons”, the last two days of LaLiga Santander and LaLiga SmartBank will be scheduled at a unified time “for all the matches whose results could have an impact on the final classification”.

Matchdays 37 and 38 of the First Division, as well as matchdays 41 and 42 of the Second Division, will thus unify all the matches that have an influence on determining the champion of both categories and also on distributing the positions that give access to European competitions, the positions for the Spanish Super Cup and the relegation places.

In the case of Second, those that determine direct promotion, relegation and promotion ‘play-off’ positions will be unified. “Those matches that could affect the achievement of the same sporting objective but whose results do not affect other matches in which a different objective is in dispute, may be scheduled in an independent unified schedule,” LaLiga indicated in its note.

“The matches whose result does not have or could have an effect on the situations described above may be scheduled independently of the unified schedules,” the press release finally specified.
