The Council of Ministers will approve this Tuesday a Royal Decree clarifying that the League will begin without an audience in the First and Second Division stadiums, according to El Larguero de la Cadena SER. In addition, it will be specified that any change in the situation will require the agreement between the Ministry of Health, the Higher Sports Council, the autonomous communities and LaLiga. In this way, the Government intends to end the option that there may be a public in some stadiums and in others not depending on the de-escalation phase in which the region in which a team plays is located.
Last Sunday, Pedro Sánchez, in his weekly appearance, said: “It is not fair that there can be fans in some stadiums and not in others.” However, hours later, Javier Tebas, president of LaLiga, said on Movistar +: “There must be fans in those places where they can. There are attacks on sports integrity ”. Most of the clubs consider that the competition will end with an audience in the stands.
