MADRID, 19 Jul. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Higher Sports Council (CSD) will install a giant screen at its headquarters in Madrid to follow the debut of the Spanish women’s soccer team in the World Cup in Australia and New Zealand against Costa Rica, a match that will take place this Friday starting at 9:30 a.m. (Spanish peninsular time).
Athletes from the Madrid High Performance Center (CAR), workers from the CSD and personalities from the world of sport will cheer on Jorge Vilda’s pupils in the Council garden in their first World Cup match.
Spain is part of Group C of the Women’s World Cup together, apart from Costa Rica, Zambia and Japan, against which it will face on July 26 and 31, respectively.
