The children of Fernando Fernández Tapias and Nuria González can now access the will: what is coming

This Monday, November 13, the funeral mass took place in Madrid in memory of Fernando Fernandez Tapias, died last October 25 at the age of 84. Both parties were present: both Nuria Gonzalez, the widow, with her two children, as the businessman’s older children. Since the death of the former first vice president of Real Madrid, family tension has been evident.

As we already mentioned, the reading of the will was about to fall. “Starting today they could have gone to the registry of last wills, found out if there is a will and then gone to a notary. At the moment they have not done it, they will surely do it next week,” Ángela Portero announced this Friday in This is life.

It must be remembered that Fernández Tapias’ eldest children filed a lawsuit against their father in 2020 to legally incapacitate him and thus challenge the transfer of powers that he had initiated months before in his business conglomerate. Fernández Tapias dismissed the seniors (Fernando, Borja e Íñigofruit of his first marriage with Chiqui Riva de Luna) in favor of another of his other son, Juan Carlosborn from his second marriage with Juana García-Courelwith whom he also had Sandra. After this lawsuit, his wife was responsible for health issues, and Florentino Pérez, in commercial and corporate matters. Thus, the two were appointed guardians, although the president of Real Madrid resigned and another person trusted by Tapias was appointed.

After the death of the businessman, his five eldest children are united and in accordance with the functions that their father gave to Juan Carlos, as they made clear in the statement they issued a week ago. The tension with the widow is maximum. Let us even remember that Real Madrid bodyguards prevented the eldest children of Fernández Tapias from entering the businessman’s cremation.
