Celta is very close to announcing the three-season renewal of their coach, Eduardo Coudet. The Argentine technician, as Radio Galega advanced, will sign a contract with which he will lead a long-term project. According to these information, the harmony between both parties is total and the club wants Chacho to be the coach who leads the first celestial team in the centenary, in 2023.
The renewal would be for three seasons, two fixed and one optional. With this, the club would close the debate on the continuity of the coach, something that the coach himself opened by not taking it for granted in various appearances before the media.
Celta had to pay 1.5 million euros to Internacional de Porto Alegre to free the coach from his contract with the Brazilian club. El Chacho signed a contract for the season and a half with a termination clause of 3 million euros that would become 6 million in August, something that may be modified in the new contract.
