The Celtics make it 2-0 against the Pacers in the NBA East final

MADRID, 24 May. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Boston Celtics defended their ‘court factor’ well in the 2023-2024 NBA Eastern Conference final and added 2-0 against the Indiana Pacers, whom they beat more easily this time at the TD Garden by 126- 110 and supported by a sensational Jaylen Brown, author of 40 points.

After having almost won in the first game, which was decided in extra time, the Indianapolis franchise could not be at the same level against an opponent that dominated the match, except in the first quarter, with considerable solvency and also had the bad news of the injury of one of their key pieces, point guard Tyrese Haliburton, who suffered a problem in the hamstring area and will be a doubt for the following games.

When the visiting game director was injured, the Celtics dominated with some comfort by 82-71 in the final stretch of the third quarter and the Pacers were no longer able to bother them anymore in a game in which, as in the first, Jaylen Brown was key with 40 points to demonstrate his great form.

Along with the point guard, Jason Tatum and Derrick White shone with 23 points each, while on the Indiana side the best was the Cameroonian Pascal Siakam, who scored 28 points, with great shooting success (13/17), but only He was accompanied by Andrew Nembhard (16).
