The AFE Sessions team faced Sint Truiden VV, a component of the Jupiler Pro League, this Friday, but ended up falling 0-1 in the first game of their 21st preparatory stay in San Pedro del Pinatar (Murcia).

On the grass of the Pinatar Arena, the first part began in an accident for the Belgian team, after confirming the goalkeeper's injury practically on the first play and having to be replaced.

During the first half, he highlighted the equality between both sets. The AFE team pressed well up, putting their opponent in difficulties for the exit of the ball. For its part, the Sint Truiden was approaching the AFE goal with distant shots but without danger.

While David Sousa claimed tranquility to his players, the first occasion of real danger would come. After a free kick launched by the AFE team, the Sint Truiden players set up a counterattack that ended with one hand in hand in front of Simón Ballester, who made a good save by sending the ball to the corner.

The Sint Truiden continued to approach with shots from outside the area. In the 25th minute, De Bruyne forced Simón to perform another merit intervention after a shot from the front of the area. And in the 27th minute the best chance for the AFE team would come.

Following a theft of the ball in the center of the field, by Dani Cadena and followed by a great combination, Carlos Calderón set a dangerous center from the right wing that ended up finishing off Adrià Carmona, crashing the ball on the side of the goal.

When the 37th minute was still running, the Belgian team had another great opportunity to finish off from within the area, leaving the ball over the crossbar. Near the break, Juan Quero took his hand to the hamstring of one leg for some discomfort and had to be replaced to enter Pipo.

Already in the second part, the Sint Truiden warned in the 58 'with another hand in hand in front of the goal. In front of Guillermo García now, the shot did not find its objective, but it was the omen of his push until the end.

Not surprisingly, in minute 71 came the lonely and definitive goal of Duckens Nazon, who stole a ball in the rival area to beat Guillermo Garcia with a cross shot. David Sousa's pupils were not discouraged and continued their approaches to the Belgian goal.

Bicho made a shot too high from the front of the area, about to reach the 82nd minute of meeting, and made clear the poor aim that ended up condemning the AFE team, despite his good feelings in attack.
