The candidacy of Spain, Portugal and Morocco has been chosen to organize the 2030 Soccer World Cup, although Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay, which completed the rival proposal to host the tournament, will host the opening matches of the event, according to the Council of FIFA held this Wednesday.

Although the governing body of international football also wanted to reward the project led by Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay, on the occasion of the centenary of the first edition of this tournament held in 1930 in the Uruguayan country.
