MADRID, 27 Ago. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The president of LaLiga, Javier Tebas, affirmed this Saturday that the control body of the body he directs has not modified decisions -nor has it changed its procedure in this regard- in relation to the requirements to register players in the Spanish championship.

Tebas did not miss the opportunity to remember that “a lot has been written and said about the registration of FC Barcelona players, a lot of ‘fake news’ (external auditors,)… and LaLiga and its control body have not modified any decision earlier,” he says.

In addition, the head of LaLiga ensures that these “decisions have been ratified by all the competent bodies”, hours after FC Barcelona was able to register Jules Koundé in the National League Championship, the only signing this summer that was missing due to be available for the blaugrana.

Koundé’s registration has been made possible by an “advance increase” that has been guaranteed by some members of the FC Barcelona board of directors.

This anticipated increase is legal according to article 92 of the LaLiga Economic Control regulations. An article that not only has FC Barcelona taken advantage of in recent years after the coronavirus pandemic.

In addition, as Tebas indicated, LaLiga has not raised its hand, nor has it modified any previous decision so that Barça could complete its list of registered players before facing this Sunday, starting at 7:30 p.m., the third day of the League against to Real Valladolid.
