Tables in the premieres of Anoeta and Gran Canaria

Girona and Mallorca react to Real Sociedad and Las Palmas

MADRID, 12 Ago. (EUROPA PRESS) –

LaLiga EA Sports began this Saturday at the Reale Arena and Gran Canaria with draws (1-1) against Girona and Mallorca, two teams that could even embitter the locals Real Sociedad and Las Palmas.

The Basque team took the lead very soon with Take Kubo, in an unopposed ball out and the Japanese only to finish off the goal. Girona had moments of dominance but lacked precision and ideas in the last meters and Real was comfortable with Brais and Kubo.

The ‘txuri-urdin’ team licked their lips with a penalty on Oyarzabal, but the referee corrected his decision after the VAR warning. The domain continued to be that of Imanol Alguacil in the second half but in a mistake behind, Artem Dovbyk made his perfect landing in Spanish football.

In a Ukrainian connection with Viktor Tsygankov, the signing of Girona made it 1-1 with 20 minutes remaining. From there, Míchel’s team took a step forward, arriving as they had not been able to until then and Real’s legs began to weigh.

The beginning of the course was noted earlier in the local wear and tear, although the calm to play, some waste of time, seemed to teach a conformist Girona. Le Normand had it somewhat forced in a corner for Real, but the tie did not budge in Anoeta.

Meanwhile, Las Palmas had a bittersweet return to the First Division, even asking for the hour against a Mallorca team that finished better after making it 1-1 and with chances to win. Those in yellow were the protagonists in the first half, with a lot of possession and, above all, Jonathan Viera’s penalty goal after half an hour.

Despite not being in contact with the ball, the Balearic team, looking very good after last season and good reinforcements, had poison in their arrivals, with a post by Dani Rodríguez and a penalty missed by Muriqi. In the second half, Javier Aguirre switched to a more offensive scheme and kept putting the Canaries out of place with good pressure from above.

Raíllo made it 1-1 on a corner kick and, with Darder behind Larin and Muriqi, the chances were visitors. Sandro had the one in Las Palmas, while every corner kick from Mallorca was a nightmare for García Pimienta’s men. Tables in Gran Canaria, another example of the even start to the season.
