Spain’s triumph in the EURO achieves a 10.4% audience share in La 1

The debut of the Spanish women’s soccer team at the EURO in England, with a comeback and victory over Finland (4-1), was seen on TVE’s La 1 by an average of 831,000 viewers, with a 10.4 percent share of screen.

Three headed goals from Irene Paredes, Aitana Bonmatí and Lucía García and a penalty from Mariona Caldentey gave Spain the win in a game that was watched by 2,191,000 people at one point.

The most watched minute of the game was at 7:26 p.m., when it gathered more than a million viewers (1,044,000) and a 13.7 percent share.
