The Spanish badminton team beat Sweden 4-1 this Wednesday at the start of the qualification for the European Team Championship, the Iberdrola 2024 European Women's Team Championships Qualification that is held at the CAR in Madrid.
The High Performance Center, the same room where they train daily, left a first victory for Spain led by the triple world champion and Olympic champion in 2016 Carolina Marín, who won the first point over Cecilia Wang by 21 -13 and 21-18. “The feelings have been good, practicing things that I am training,” said Marín after her victory.

Ania Setién defeated Elin Ryberg (21-10, 21-18), while the doubles of Clara Azurmendi and Bea Corrales fell to Moa Sjoo and Tilda Sjoo, giving Spain its first defeat, with a 12-21, 17-21.
