MADRID, 3 Jun. (EUROPA PRESS) –
UCAM Murcia announced this Saturday that the Spanish coach Sito Alonso will continue to be the head of its bench for next season, despite the fact that the team did not reach the Endesa League playoffs.

The Murcians reacted at least in the final stretch of the regular season to fight for eighth place until the last day. All in all, the ninth place of Sito Alonso’s men equals the second best classification of UCAM Murcia CB in the Endesa League.
“With a total of 142 games in the domestic league, 2 in the Copa del Rey and 19 in the BCL, Alonso will have the opportunity to continue increasing his numbers in both competitions during the next season,” adds UCAM, already thinking about the next campaign.
