The legend of American gymnastics continues to shine in Antwerp

The successful American gymnast Simone Biles won this Friday for the sixth time the title in the individual All Around of an artistic World Championship, in connection with the 52nd edition of this event that is being held in Antwerp (Belgium).

Just 48 hours earlier, Biles had already led the United States to win its seventh consecutive World Cup gold in the team competition, in this case ahead of the teams from Brazil and France.

And in what her return to international competition means, after two years of self-imposed rest due to mental health from the Tokyo Olympic Games until this event in Belgian lands, Biles continues to shine and increase records in her medal harvest.

To win a new gold in the individual all-around competition in Antwerp, Biles obtained 58,399 points. He did so at a rate of 15,100 points on the vault, 14,333 on the uneven bars, 14,433 points on the balance beam and 14,533 points on the floor exercise.

With no Spanish participation in this All Around final, the silver medal went to the Brazilian Rebeca Andrade, thanks to her 56,766 points, and the bronze medal was awarded to the American Shilese Jones, with a final score of 56,332.
