Sevilla FC’s Swedish full-back Ludwig Augustinsson will play on loan this season at Belgian side RSC Anderlecht, after both teams have reached an agreement in which no purchase option is contemplated, according to a statement.
“Sevilla FC and the Belgian RSC Anderlecht have reached an agreement for the loan for one season and without the option to buy the Swedish international Ludwig Augustinsson,” the Seville team advanced on their website.
Augustinsson, who only played four games with Sevilla last year, was already on loan last season, until January at English Aston Villa and at RCD Mallorca starting in the winter market.
In 2021-2022, when he signed with the Seville club, he played a total of 27 official matches as a Sevilla player, in his most productive year with the red and white shirt. “The club wants to wish him the best of luck in this new stage,” the statement said.
