MADRID, 26 Ago. (EUROPA PRESS) –
Sevilla’s Brazilian defender, Marcos do Nascimento Teixeira, ‘Marcao’, will be out for three weeks due to a micro-tear in the myotendinous junction of the hamstring of his left leg, according to the Seville team in a statement this Friday.
“Marcao, who withdrew from the training session last Wednesday after suffering some discomfort, has been diagnosed in medical tests with a micro-tear in the myotendinous joint of the hamstring of his left leg. The Sevilla center-back will be out due to this injury for three weeks, according to the club’s medical services,” Sevilla announced.
Thus, the center-back, one of the reinforcements of the Andalusian team after the losses of Diego Carlos and Jules Koundé, will have to wait to debut with his new team, after he has not added a single minute, not even in preseason.
