Conor McGregor returns with a ‘ko’ to Cerrone in just 40 seconds

MADRID, Jan. 19 (SportsFinding) –

Irish wrestler Conor McGregor has returned this morning to the mixed martial arts circuit, the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), with a spectacular 40-second victory in his welterweight match against American Donald Cerrone, who 'knocked out' with A kick to the head.

On his return to the octagon of the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas (United States), McGregor came ready to make up for the UFC 246 of his hard defeat of 15 months ago against the Russian Jabib Nurmagomédov, and did so with one of the 'ko ' faster.

They had hardly disputed a few seconds of the first assault when the Irishman, who had attacked from the first moment, hit in the 'clinch' with his shoulders and connected a kick to the head of 'Cowboy' Cerrone, which fell to the canvas.

With this, 'The Notorius' becomes the first fighter of the UFC to get a victory for 'ko' in both the featherweight, the light and the welterweight.
