Seven Spaniards participate in the European Mushing Land in Germany

Seven Spanish athletes will participate in the 2022 IFSS Earth Mushing European Championship, which takes place in Leipa (Germany) from this Wednesday until November 13, reports the Royal Spanish Winter Sports Federation (RFEDI).

The Spanish athletes of the RFEDI are Olga Álvarez, Víctor Carrasco, Andoni Isusi, Javier Sánchez, Lali Masriera, Valeria Guiridi and Mónica Touriño.

During this championship, four days of competition will be held in all disciplines of land mushing in which nearly 800 athletes will participate.

During that same weekend, from November 11 to 13, the Mushing Land World Championship with Nordic breeds will be held in Pampa (Belgium). Of the 45 competitors, 10 will be Spanish, including Lázaro Martínez, 59 years old and with more than 30 years of experience in this sport.

Olga Álvarez, the current world champion in Canicross, also stands out. During the 2021-22 season, he won the Nordic Canicross Dog World Championship in Firle (United Kingdom). Víctor Carrasco is the current IFSS European silver medalist achieved in Nybro (Sweden) in 2019.
