It will be Leonor, as honorary president of the foundation that bears her name, who will present him with this distinction in October at the Campoamor Theater from Oviedo.
“I would like to thank the jury for having so generously valued my merits and also thank all those who on this occasion and on previous occasions proposed adding my name to the list of winners for this award,” he added.
The singer and composer from Barcelona has been awarded in the Arts category, as made public this Wednesday, April 24, by the jury in charge of his award. This distinction comes to him at the age of 80.
