BARCELONA, 5 Dic. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The non-Mundialista players of FC Barcelona exercised this Monday after a few days off and Sergi Roberto, who was injured during the break, was the novelty when he received a medical discharge and was able to exercise with his teammates.
“Bellerín, Marcos Alonso, Sergi Roberto and Iñaki Peña trained this Monday on pitch 2 of the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper after enjoying a few weeks off due to the World Cup in Qatar,” the Blaugrana club announced.
Sergi Roberto, injured with a dislocated left shoulder at Barça-Athletic Club on October 23 (he started and scored 2-0), returned to work with a medical discharge. In contrast, Ronald Araújo and Franck Kessie continued with their recovery and specific work.
The Blaugrana thus began to prepare for the return to competition, which will take place on December 31 at the Spotify Camp Nou against RCD Espanyol (2:00 p.m.), on matchday 15 of LaLiga Santander.
The club reported that over the next few weeks, the rest of the ‘culés’ World Cup players will be added to the training sessions, under the orders of coach Xavi Hernández, depending on when they are eliminated.
