Sergi Altimira pays Getafe his termination clause and signs for Betis until 2028

MADRID, 11 Ago. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Spanish midfielder Sergi Altimira has paid this Friday the amount corresponding to his termination clause and has subsequently become a new Real Betis player, as reported by both clubs.

“The footballer Sergi Altimira has paid the amount corresponding to the termination clause and is thus cut unilaterally from Getafe Club de Fútbol,” the ‘azulón’ team stressed in a statement, while Betis indicated that the 21-year-old from Barcelona , signed until 2028.

This same Friday, at a press conference, the coach José Bordalás had already confirmed a march that upsets his plans for the visit of FC Barcelona. “We would have liked Altimira not to leave because he pleasantly surprised us,” he said.

Thus, in barely a month, the Catalan midfielder changes teams for the second time since last July he signed for Getafe for the next four seasons, coming from CE Sabadell of the Primera RFEF.
