Samu keeps Alavés launched against a jinxed Almería

MADRID, 26 Ene. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Deportivo Alavés achieved their third consecutive victory by beating UD Almería (0-3) this Friday at the start of matchday 22 of LaLiga EA Sports, another step forward for the Basques to achieve salvation and another step backwards for a bottom team jinxed

The Power Horse Stadium received another splash of cold water as they saw their team compete and once again deserve their first victory of the season, but suffer another defeat, also against a rival from below. Alavés is no longer so, with 26 points thanks to the great game of Samu Omorodion.

The young forward on loan from Atlético de Madrid scored a double and caused the penalty for the other goal of the night. Between the visiting striker and the goalkeeper, a Sivera who extended Almería's blunder, the three points flew to Vitoria in the midst of the bad feeling in Almería that relegation seems to be written.

And Gaizka Garitano's men, in the stands for their red card against Real Madrid, have been competing and, this Friday, they shot on goal many more times than their rival, they had more possession, but they did not know how to win. After 10 minutes the locals failed in defense, against a Samu that seemed unstoppable in the Andalusian field.

Alavés saw clearly the script to defend well and look for the counterattack. Almería's team was stopped by Sivera, as in a good local restart that was not enough to change the game. Then, Samu appeared again, to force the penalty that Rioja converted. Despite the far post, Garitano's team still deserved the goal, but that was just Samu's doing.
