Sabadell snatches the three points from Betis Deportivo (0-4)

Sabadell put on an outstanding performance after thrashing Betis Deportivo during the match played at the Ciudad Deportiva Luis del Sol this Saturday, which ended with a result of 0-4. Betis Deportivo entered the match with the aim of overcoming their league score after losing the last game against UCAM Murcia by a score of 1-0, accumulating a total of three straight defeats in the competition. On the visitors’ side, Sabadell beat Albacete at their stadium by 1-0 and previously did so away from home, against San Fernando by 0-1. With this good result, Sabadell is fifth at the end of the match, while Betis Deportivo is twentieth.

The first team to score was the away team, which kicked off at the Ciudad Deportiva Luis del Sol through a goal by Muguruza in the 11th minute. After this, another chance allowed the Sabadell team to increase the score thanks to a goal from Jacobo at 18 minutes that established the 0-2. After a new move, Sabadell increased the score, which increased the score through another goal by Jacobo, who thus achieved a double near the end, in minute 42, ending the first half with the score of 0-3.

The second half of the game started with a face for Sabadell, who put more ground in between through a goal from Aleix in the 51st minute, thus ending the confrontation with the result of 0-4.

The coaches made all possible changes. On the part of the local team, Gonçalo Cardoso, Baena, Marchena, Juan Cruz and Kike Hermoso jumped off the bench to replace Fran Delgado, Moha, Tavares, Fekir and Luis Martínez, while the changes made by the visiting team were Alfred Planas, Facundo García, Altimira, Folch and Dopico, who entered through Muguruza, Iago, Jacobo, Kaxe and Aguza.

The referee sanctioned two players with a yellow card, one for the locals and one for the visitors. On the part of the locals the card went to Álvaro Martínez and on the part of the visitors to Kaxe.

With this good display, Sabadell rises to 46 points in the First RFEF and remains in fifth place in the standings, in playoff position for promotion to the Second Division. For its part, Betis Deportivo remains with 15 points with which it faced the thirty-first day.
