Rodrygo finally enters the Real Madrid squad to face Villarreal

The Brazilian has been absent for several minutes and has worn a bandage on his knee

MADRID, 7 Abr. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Brazilian footballer Rodrygo Goes, Real Madrid striker, trained as normal this Friday after having been absent from the group for several minutes and despite wearing a bandage on his right knee, and finally entered his team’s squad to face Villarreal CF in the 28th day of LaLiga Santander.

His coach, Carlo Ancelotti, later confirmed at a press conference that Rodrygo “had permission to arrive a little late for a personal matter”, but also that “he is fine” physically and that “it is normal for him to play” against the Castellón team in his match this Saturday (9:00 p.m.) at the Santiago Bernabéu stadium.

Without full-back Ferland Mendy due to a muscle injury in the left soleus, the Madrid squad is made up of: Courtois, Lunin and Luis López; Carvajal, Militão, Alaba, Vallejo, Nacho, Odriozola, Lucas Vázquez and Rüdiger; Kroos, Modric, Camavinga, Valverde, Tchouameni and Ceballos; Hazard, Benzema, Asensio, Vinicius, Rodrygo and Mariano.
