Ríos Reina, Eibar’s first signing

the Andalusian side Jose Ríos Reina will be the first reinforcement of Eibar for the next season, after signing a contract for two seasons, the gunsmith club has reported.

Ríos Reina, born in Seville in 1990, is a left back who arrives free after having played the last five and a half campaigns in Ponferradina and will be linked to the armory entity until 2024.

Trained in the Sevilla youth academy, Ríos Reina has played for Real Madrid Castilla, Mirandés, Llagostera, and Cypriot Anorthosis, the club from which he arrived at Ponferradina in the 16/17 winter market.

The Andalusian defender has extensive experience in the category. In the Second Division he has played a total of 183 games, in which he has scored 5 goals and distributed 22 assists.

This last season he has played a total of 30 games with Ponferradina, in which he has managed to score 3 goals and has provided 8 assists. The bercianos were on the verge of playing the promotion of ascent to First.

Ríos Reina will reinforce the armory defense, which this year has been the line most affected by injuries.
