Ricky Rubio repeats double figures against the Hornets in his most complete game

MADRID, 15 Mar. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Spanish point guard Ricky Rubio completed a great performance this morning with the Cleveland Cavaliers repeating double figures in scoring, with the second best figure since he reappeared after his injury, in the fifth win (104-120) in the last six games for the Ohio against Charlotte Hornets.

The El Masnou player had his best match since he returned from his serious knee injury, with 11 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 1 block, in just over 20 minutes on the Spectrum Center pitch. Led again by Evan Mobley and his 26 points, the ‘Cavs’ achieved their second win over Charlotte in less than a week.

Cleveland built its easy victory from the perimeter, with a 14/30 triple that ended up being decisive, after the locals punctured this facet with a poor 6/23 in outside shooting. In addition, the Cavaliers had the contribution of a great Cedi Osman (24 points) and a Caris LeVert who, although he came off the bench, finished with 22 points in scoring.

This victory, the fifth in the last six games, settles the ‘Cavs’ in the ‘Playoff’ positions in the Eastern Conference with a record of 44-27. While the Hornets, in which only Kelly Oubre (28 points) stood out, they do not leave the lower zone, penultimate after three straight losses, with a more than discreet 22-49.
