Real Madrid and Baskonia will open their Euroleague playoff on April 23 and Barça will do so a day later

Real Madrid and Baskonia will open their Euroleague quarterfinal tie next Tuesday, April 23 at 9:00 p.m. at the WiZink Center, scheduled for the best of five games, while FC Barcelona will do so against the Greek Olympiacos a day later at the Palau Blaugrana and at the same time.

The competition reported last Monday the schedule of the first four games in each playoff junction. Real Madrid, current champion and No. 1 seed for this phase of the tournament, will face Baskonia for their second home game on Thursday, April 25, also starting at 9:00 p.m. and again at the WiZink Center.

The tie between Merengues and Baskonistas will have its third date on Wednesday, May 1 from 8:30 p.m. at the Fernando Buesa Arena. And if a fourth game were necessary, again in Vitoria, it would be played on Friday, May 3, also from 8:30 p.m. In the case of the fifth matches, the competition has not yet confirmed dates.

Meanwhile, Barça will host Olympiacos on Wednesday, April 24. They will repeat the match on Friday, April 26 on the Barça field and it will also be at 9:00 p.m. Looking ahead to the third match, the culés will play in Piraeus from 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 30. And if a fourth duel is necessary, again in Greece, the reservation is made for Thursday, May 2, starting at 7:45 p.m.

The other two quarterfinal series will cross Monaco with Fenerbahçe and Panathinaikos with Maccabi Tel Aviv. The field advantage will be for the Monegasques and Athenians, by virtue of having finished third and second respectively after the Regular Phase of the championship.
