Raymond Domenech, goodbye to Nantes

It is not official, but, according to the AFP agency, a Nantes source indicated that former France coach Raymond Domenech has been dismissed as coach of that team. Domenech came into office in December and will leave after just 7 Ligue 1 games because Nantes are in promotion. In the French Cup, this Wednesday and without Domenech on the bench he was eliminated by Lens (2-4 in thirty-second)

Domenech, who had not returned to coach since the enormous failure of the 2010 World Cup in South Africa for the 'bleu' team with him as coach, has not been able to straighten the course of Nantes, which has the worst streak in its history: 15 matches without knowing victory.

Under Domenech's orders, Nantes has chained 4 draws and 3 defeats, a balance that for the leadership of that entity is not enough for the coach to remain in office. Although his dismissal is not official, Domenech was not going to be on the Nantes bench in the 30th Cup because he is in isolation (although he tested negative on Tuesday after positive on Monday). The team was taken over by his deputy, Patrick Collot, as he did after the dismissal of Christian Gourcuff. Sounds like a Domenech Antoine Kombouaré relay.
