Ramón García remembers with the “third Ana” his companions Igartiburu and Obregón in the Campanadas

At 62 years old, Ramón García was this last Sunday of 2023 the great veteran of the Campanas, not only on the TVE set, in the emblematic Puerto del Sol in Madrid, where he was accompanied by Ana Mena and Jennifer Hermoso. The man from Bilbao was the dean in these tasks, the oldest in the place. And she had a detail for her colleagues from yesteryear: Anne Igartiburu (54 years old) and Ana Obregón (68 years old), who said a week ago that they had offered her to be on this December 31st but that she had rejected it, although she did not specify what chain had offered it to him.

But this year, the presenter did not have his countrywoman or the biologist, who has been a mother through surrogacy. For the first time, Patricia Cerezo's ex-husband had the singer Ana Mena (25 years old) next to her, with her explosive dress full of openings, and the World Champion soccer player. Jenni Hermoso (33 years). García had the beautiful gesture of remembering her colleagues from yesteryear and dedicated a few words to them.

Dressed in his legendary New Year's Eve cape, the Grand Prix presenter recalled the New Year's Eve he has experienced in that same place: “Speaking from my experience, this balcony has many traditions and one of them is the name 'Ana,'” he began. “In chronological order is my dearest Ana Garcia Obregonwith which I rang my first bells here, and to which I send a very strong kiss,” he said excitedly. “Then there is Anne Igartiburu, who is the companion and dear friend with whom I have spent the most years,” he repeated.

“The two of you are also with us today because I have you in my heart,” he said. Afterwards, she referred to her new “Ana”, who commented on how much she was “freaking out” about being there. Ramón García has celebrated his fifteenth bell on TVE, to which he has returned after five years: in 2017 was the last time we could see him saying goodbye to the year, on that occasion with Anne Igartiburu.

The three Annes of the Bells

Both Ramón García and Ana Mena spoke live with Anne Igartiburu in the Corazón program that she presents. Anne wished luck to the three new people in charge of ringing the Chimes. Ramón then sent a message to his partner: “Dear Anne, you always told me when I was not in Puerta del Sol that I was there, by your side, so this year I have to carry you in my heart and have you be by my side. I wish you a wonderful year 2024 for you and your wonderful family,” he said. Anne, very excited, responded to the presenter: “I also toast you dear Ramón, I love you very much. They have been together for many years, I even remember being pregnant. Thank you very much, hope everything goes great tonight,” she noted.
