Prisco’s NFL picks for Week 11: Browns beat Steelers with no Deshaun Watson; Bills get back to the track vs. Jets

This NFL season, a good week for me will be one in which I pick more than 500 games, both straight up and against the spread. That’s how hard picking games has been this year. Every week, the game is full of danger.

Look at what happened to the Ravens, Bengals, along with Bills last week: they all lost at home to clubs that were favorites to beat them. That’s why it’s so hard to choose games every week.

Happy to say that I made it to 500 wins in ATS games this year! My straight-up record is 89-61. Check to see if it is two weeks earlier. 500 for both—maybe additionally a little higher than last week’s barely missed goal.

This week, there was a lot of talk about how important it is for the Bengals to win tonight’s game at M&T Bank Stadium against the Ravens.

The Bengals would really need to win this game if they want to win their third straight AFC North championship or even just make the playoffs.

But this is also a very important game to the Ravens, and 16 of the 29 experts who turned in their picks by this morning thought they would win.

Cincinnati (5-4) is in the last spot in the AFC North as well as the No. 8 seed at the AFC, which means that if the regular-season ended today, it would not make the playoffs.

If the Bengals lose tonight, they will have the same amount of losses as an six other AFC teams that are currently on an outside looking in. All six of those teams would have a better winning rate in the conference.

The Ravens (7-3) lost 33–31 at home to the Cleveland Browns, who came back from being down 14 points in the fourth quarter to beat them. They need to win tonight to stay in the lead in the division.

As long as the Ravens win and the Chiefs lose to the Eagles on Monday night, Baltimore will be in first place in the AFC.

For the Bengals, it was a 27-24 loss against the Ravens in Week 2 that made them 0-2 in their division and 1-4 in the conference as a whole.

The Ravens’ chances of win the AFC North would go down if they lost to a division foe at home for a second time in five days.

They would also have less time to make the playoffs because they still have a tough schedule ahead of them.

Last night, the Bengals posted and then deleted a video about quarterback burrow leaving the Baltimore team bus with some kind of brace or wrap on his throwing hand. This revealed a new story twist for the game.
