MADRID, 20 Jun. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Spanish tennis player Paula Badosa has fallen this Monday from third to fourth place in the WTA ranking, a list that continues to lead the Polish Iga Swiatek and in which Garbiñe Muguruza continues to close the ‘Top 10’.

The Catalan, who has not played since retiring injured from Roland Garros, maintains her 4,245 points, but has been overtaken by the Tunisian Ons Jabeur (4,340), who won the Berlin tournament on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Swiatek, champion in Paris, firmly leads the standings (8,631) ahead of Estonian Anett Kontaveit (4,511). The Greek Maria Sakkari gains one place, up to fifth, at the expense of the Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka, as does the American Danielle Collins, eighth, at the expense of her compatriot Jessica Pegula.

For her part, Garbiñe Muguruza does not move from number ten on the list (2,961). Sara Sorribes from Castellón rises two positions to number 40, and Nuria Párrizas from Granada continues in 52nd place.
