Uriarte presents his institutional and social area for Athletic

Yesterday, Jon Uriarte’s candidacy announced his electoral program regarding the social and institutional area. The businessman from Bilbao once again chose a video to expose, together with his collaborators, the ideas and projects contemplated in said area. “Athletic has many strengths and we want to transform them into value”, they assured from their board.

Somehow the club is falling a little behind, “he said before going into detail.

Since this candidacy, the British model is committed to the foundation level. “That model in which the fans generate projects that the foundation then channels and gives them power. Betting on a model very different from the current one: to involve the social mass. We believe that Athletic with that concept of a Gallic village has to be more than football”, he argued.

Gorka Cubes, for his part, developed the entire program for Uriarte’s candidacy relating to the institutional area. ”Athletic is a centennial club, with great roots and strength, but it needs modernization. We started with the approval of the new statutes, the first stone, but the institutional weight of Athletic must be promoted in all the related levels, which can be improved in many aspects, ”he said before detailing specific issues in this regard.
