The Real Madrid basketball coach, Pablo Laso, visited the Whites’ squad and coaching staff this Friday during his training session at the Real Madrid City pavilion, while he continues to recover after suffering a myocardial infarction last week.
The coach greeted the players and members of his staff, who are already preparing for the Endesa League final after beating Bitci Baskonia (3-0) in the semifinals, in whose last match the Basque coach could no longer be present after suffering the past Sunday a heart attack.
Laso continues with the corresponding medical treatment at his home after undergoing a catheterization on Sunday itself at the Sanitas La Moraleja University Hospital, where he entered on his own feet that morning after feeling unwell and where he was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit ( ICU). On Tuesday, the Madrid coach received a medical discharge.
The team is already preparing for the Endesa League final, in which it will face the winner of the other semifinal between FC Barcelona and Joventut Badalona. The series to the best of five games will begin on Monday 13 or Wednesday 15 June at 9:00 p.m.
