Osasuna extends the contract of homegrown midfielder Iker Muñoz until 2027

MADRID, 5 Sep. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Club Atlético Osasuna announced this Tuesday that it has extended its relationship with youth squad midfielder Iker Muñoz, 21, until June 30, 2027, placing its termination clause at 12,000,000 euros.

As indicated by the ‘rojillo’ club, he stressed that the man from Villafranca “is the latest talent to emerge from the Tajonar youth academy” which he arrived at at the age of 15 from Oberena. After playing one season in the Juvenil de Liga Nacional and two in the División de Honor, he made the leap to Promesas, with which he achieved promotion to the First Federation.

On February 12, Jagoba Arrasate gave him the opportunity to make his debut with the first team in the First Division, in the match against Valladolid, in which he replaced Lucas Torró in the 70th minute. The midfielder has continued to enjoy the confidence of his coach in this start of LaLiga EA Sports, in which he has participated in three of the four games played.
