Osaka already has its own logo and sportswear collection

The prestigious clothing and sports equipment firm Nike has created a logo and an exclusive line dedicated to the current US Open champion and former world number one, Naomi osaka. Like other champions like Serena Williams and Rafa Nadal, the Japanese tennis player now has her own visual identity.

There is already a new logo with very graphic letters that can be found in the first lifestyle collection dedicated to the tennis player, third in the WTA ranking. It pays tribute to the tennis player's diverse origins: her mother is Japanese and her father Haitian. The long-sleeved shirt features a camouflage print inspired by the coordinates of Japan, Haiti and the United States. The numbers for each nation were fed by a digital algorithm to create the unique model.

Nike bets on Osaka, double winner in the New York Grand Slam and a symbol for Americans despite being Japanese, for her residence in the North American country and her open support for the black community to which she belongs on her father's side.
