Jesús ‘Tecatito’ Corona has become Sevilla’s first winter reinforcement. The Mexican footballer arrives from Porto, with whom his contract ended next June, and He will be linked to the Nervionense entity for the remainder of the season and three more, until June 2025.
After having tested the options of Martial and Orsolini, the high claims of United and Bologna have forced Sevilla to go for the Corona option. One option, however, much to Lopetegui’s liking, who signed him for Porto and whom he already asked for in previous transfer windows, without the agreement that is now being signed coming to fruition.
Corona has a community passport and the intention is to put himself immediately under Lopetegui’s orders. The Basque does not have plenty of troops, far from it, so it would not be strange if Corona could even make his debut in the cup derby against Betis next Saturday.
