OFFICIAL: Deyverson returns to Alavés on loan

He Deportivo Alavés progresses in the preparation of the squad for the 2020-21 campaign. Among his objectives, he had insisted on the return of Deyverson Brum Silva Acosta and he has finally succeeded. The babazorro club has already made official the incorporation of this old acquaintance, on loan from the Palmeiras Sports Society.

Deyverson (Rio de Janeiro, 05/08/1991) left a good taste in his mouth during his previous stay in Vitoria, which dates back four years. In the 2016-17 season, the Rio striker also arrived in a loan operation, in that case from Levante. He played 32 league matches with the Albiazul jacket, of which he started in 32. He also participated in five games -3 as a starter- in an edition of the Copa del Rey in which Alavés reached the final, in which they yielded to Barça. In total, he scored seven goals, becoming the babazorro top scorer of that year in the league competition.

The new reinforcement of Alaves was trained in the lower categories of Grêmio Mangaratibense. In 2012 he made the leap to Europe and ended up in the ranks of the Benfica Portuguese where he debuted in the Portuguese league. After passing through the team of the Eagles, the Brazilian was transferred to the also Portuguese squad of the Os Belenenses. Two years later, in 2015, he ended up on loan, in the German Bundesliga where he was part of the FC Cologne. Later he signed with Levante UD and after his first stint at the Deportivo Alavés, Deyverson was linked to Palmeiras. Last January he joined on loan at the Getafe CF, where it has not had much prominence. At the orders of Bordalás, has only played five league games and two of Europa League, competition in which he has scored his only as much as blue.

At 29 years old, Deyverson seeks to relaunch his career in a destination he already knows.
