As he has been able to confirm EFE, the two players are isolated and will have to remain in quarantine for ten days and they will only be able to join the squad once they test positive.

In this way, both players will miss the match that Sporting will play at home against Vitória Guimarães next Saturday.

These are the first two Covid cases of Sporting after two months, since the last ones that tested positive did so last January.

Sporting carried out this Thursday the PCR tests corresponding to the entire squad, as established in the protocol, 48 hours before the game.

Very aware of the results have been some players who in the next few days will travel with their national teams, including the Spanish Pedro Porro, who for the first time has been summoned by Luis Enrique for the next qualifying matches of the Qatar World Cup 2022.
