No agreement on union representation for the 2ndB agreement

The Association of Spanish Footballers (AFE) confirmed that no agreement was reached this Monday at the meeting to compose the social bank for the negotiation of the Second Division B collective agreement, in which his approach is that the players are the ones who decide the union that represents them.

“Our association considers the legitimacy of the parties to negotiate the Collective Agreement fundamental. And for this, AFE has requested in the SIMA, in the first place and as it happened with the First and Second Men's Division, that Second B footballers are the ones who, through voting, decide which union represents them in the negotiation of the agreement, “he said in a statement.

After the meeting held electronically under the supervision of the SIMA Foundation (Interconfederal Mediation and Arbitration Service), the AFE recalled that in the Collective Agreement for First Division soccer players, signed last February, such votes are also contemplated, “since it is a strip agreement, something that our association has always defended.”

“AFE's position is to work for the signing of a future agreement for Second Division B footballers in which important issues such as a minimum wage, setting the time of the working day as in any other area, holidays, regime are regulated. disciplinary, compensation in the event of death or disabling injury, family conciliation or a strict health protocol, among others “, said the union chaired by David Aganzo.
