Newcastle pushes for fourth place thanks to Isak

MADRID, 17 Mar. (EUROPA PRESS) –

A penalty goal by Alexander Isak in the 93rd minute gave Newcastle all three points this Friday in their visit to Nottingham Forest, to push for the ‘Top 4’ for access to the Champions League at the start of matchday 28 of the premier.

The former Real Sociedad striker, injured in the first half of the season, signed both goals for his team, the first also in discount before the break to equalize Emmanuel Dennis’s goal for a Forest that was looking to move away from the relegation zone after five days without winning.

A hand from Moussa Niakhate in the area gave the option from 11 meters that Isak assumed for a Newcastle that has 47 points, one behind Tottenham in fourth place, with one more game.
