New setback for Van de Beek

A new chapter is written in Van de Beek's career. This same week it was reported the option that was open to the Dutch midfielder: it is the priority of Roma. According to the Roman newspaper The Republic, the owner of the Italian club, Dan Friedkin, dreams of seeing him dressed as a giallorroso. The main obstacle facing the Italian team is the player's powerful salary, of about 6 million euros per year.

However, only a few hours after the news of the possible transfer to Roma broke, United said 'no'. In England they say that Old Trafford will not allow him to leave the club even though he has not counted too much. At 24 years old, and after being a signing with a lot of projection, Van de Beek has only participated in 16 Premier League games so far, totaling only 326 minutes.

However, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has big plans for the midfielder. Van de Beek sees his future truncated again, although the latest conversations with his coach inspire him with hope.
