The Manacor tennis player, who started this Sunday in 10th place, was able to finish even higher after adding a birdie and making par on 14 of the 18 holes of the course, but the bogeys on 11, 16 and 17 weighed down on him.
With +4, Nadal, who plays against professionals with an amateur license and a handicap plus 0.3, is seven hits behind the leader, Federico Páez, and just two behind the top-5, who now scores with +2 Antoni Ferrer. The number two in the ATP ranking completed a round that was more than remarkable for him and remained for a long time in the average of the tournament, on a day in which the hole in one that Odette Font achieved at 11 stood out.
