Morgan Freeman agrees to accept an Auburn player’s apology for laying hands.

Auburn basketball player Johni Broome recognized he needed to make things right with God after striking away a fan’s hand that he thought came to a rival team. God was played by the famous actor Morgan Freeman in the movie Bruce Almighty.

In the second half of Auburn’s game against Ole Miss, Broome tried to stop a ball from going out of bounds, but someone in the first row grabbed his jersey.

Auburn basketball player Johni Broome realized he needed to make things right with God after slapping away a fan’s hand that he thought belonged to a rival team. God was played by the famous actor Morgan Freeman in the movie Bruce Almighty.

In the second half of Auburn’s game against Ole Miss, Broome tried to stop a ball from going out of bounds, but someone in the first row grabbed his jersey. The Brazilian forward scored his hat trick from the resulting penalty spot after Malo Gusto of Chelsea fouled him in the area.

Broome pushed the person’s arm away because he thought it was an Ole Miss fan trying to scare him. Broome quickly turned around and saw that it was Freeman, the Oscar-winning actor who loves Mississippi and goes to a lot of Rebels games.

After the fact, Broome told reporters, “I kind of got his hand off.” “I know who it was because I love movies.” Most likely, I watched one of these movies on the way here.

The score was 4–2 for Wolves at home on Sunday afternoon. Mauricio Pochettino now has a worse record to be Chelsea manager than Graham Potter did at this point last season.

Pochettino’s team has given up eight goals in the last five days. And Chelsea was behind at halftime because a Rayan Ait-Nouri effort was deflected into the net by Axel Disasi.

Cole Palmer scored the first goal for Chelsea after 19 minutes during Stamford Bridge, but Wolves’ Matheus Cunha scored three minutes later through a deflection off Thiago Silva. This may have made the Blues too proud.

After halftime, Pochettino couldn’t get his team to come back and score. Ever-faster Pedro Neto beat Chelsea’s weak defense and cut the ball back for Cunha to score his second goal of the game through a defiant shot past Đorđe Petrović.

Silva got one back from a late corner, but it wasn’t enough to keep Wolves ahead of Chelsea. The Blues are now in the bottom half of the Premier League table.

The boos from the Chelsea fans, who were very angry at the team, were caused by holes in the midfield and lackluster play from Raheem Sterling as well as Ben Chilwell.

Graham Potter held the record for most points in a season, which Pochettino has now tied with 31. But Chelsea has given up 39 goals thus far this season, which is 17 more than Potter’s team did shortly after a comparable number of games.

Rasmus Hojlund or Alejandro Garnacho scored for Manchester United in a 3–0 win in West Ham on Sunday afternoon.

Meanwhile, Bournemouth held on for a 1–1 draw at home against Nottingham Forest on Monday night despite Philip Billing getting sent off late in the game.

David Moyes was hopeful that Lucas Paqueta, a star player for West Ham, would be able to play again in two weeks. If he does, it will greatly improve his team’s chances of keeping up their European push.

At that point, the Brazilian had just returned to a similar injury he got against Arsenal at the end of last year. Moyes said earlier this week that the injury is more complicated than first thought.

The Scot, on the other hand, was more positive after his team’s 3-0 loss to Manchester United on Sunday. “We thought Paqueta would be back in about a week or two,” Moyes said.

The Hammers have had a hard time balancing their attack without Paqueta. He had been a great front-three player with Jarrod Bowen or Mohammed Kudus in the first half of the season.

Moyes wanted to get another left-sided forward in January, but no deal came together. The departures for Said Benrahma along with Pablo Fornals have also made it harder for him to make a choice.

As Moyes said, “We haven’t got into our rhythm because some of our boys are away at the Africa Cup of Nations and because two or three of them are hurt.”

Paqueta hasn’t played since he left his FA Cup third-round match against Bristol City early in January because of a calf injury.

We’ve been very good up until about January 1. But those things knock us off, and we can’t get our left-hand side team balanced.
