Mo Katir, silver of the 5,000 meters in the World Cup

The Spanish athlete Mohamed Katir hung the silver medal of the 5,000 meters in the World Cup in Budapest this Sunday, in a marvelous final in which he again challenged the Norwegian Jakob Ingebrigtsen, who finally took the gold.

Katir served the fifth medal for Spain, after the gold doubles underway by María Pérez and Álvaro Martín. The Murcian gave it his all in a long attack with the bell on the last lap but Ingebrigtsen overtook him in the last meters. Kenyan Jacob Krop was third.
