Melania Rodríguez hangs the bronze in Double Mini-Tramp in the trampoline World Championship

The Spanish gymnast Melania Rodríguez has won the bronze medal in the Double Mini-Tramp (DMT) final of the Trampoline Gymnastics World Championship, which is being held in Baku (Azerbaijan).

The athlete from Ximnasia Pontevedra achieved a score of 69,600 that earned her to finish third, only behind the Swedish Lina Sjoeberg (70,900), who achieved her third consecutive World Cup, and the American Shelby Nobuhara (70,000), who debuted in the competition.

The Galician will have the opportunity to add a new medal in the springboard final this Sunday, in which she got after finishing among the eight best.

On Friday, Spain claimed another bronze medal in the men’s DMT final, completing a podium led by Russia and Portugal.
