Mascherano's pullita to Casillas with Anfield 4-0

Iker Casillas lived one of his most complicated nights as a Real Madrid goalkeeper at Anfield. It was the 08/09 and the goal stepped on the Liverpool home for the first time. The reds with Gerrard, Torres en plentiud, Mascherano, Dirk Kuyt, Xabi Alonso or Pepe Reina on the field they closed the tie going over those of Juande Ramos with a 4-0 that could well have been more.

To avoid them, there was Iker Casillas, who shared a UEFA video on his Twitter account showing some of his best saves during this match. Some, bordering on the miracle. “Anfield, top”, tweeted the goalkeeper. A stadium that he visited up to four times with Madrid and Porto, leaving a clean sheet on two of them.

That night, Torres, Gerrard and Dossena scored twice. Mascherano, with just four goals as a professional, came close to scoring one of the best goals of his career: a volley with the left that Iker cleared with a changed hand and bounced off the crossbar before going over the baseline.

The Argentine took advantage of Iker's tweet to ask him, a posteriori, if he could have left it to what the goalkeeper has not yet answered.
