MADRID, 16 Ago. (EUROPA PRESS) –
MotoGP rider Marc Márquez (Repsol Honda) assured this Wednesday that “every day” he is “a little better”, after having “taken advantage of the time between races to continue working” on his physical form, at the same time that he predicted a Grand Prix of Austria “of hard work to try to improve and take a step towards the future.
“I have taken advantage of the time between races to continue working on my physical form. Every day I am a little better, so we are going to see what we can do in Austria,” said the man from Cervera in statements released by his team.
Marc Márquez arrives at a track where he has three second places in MotoGP, although this season the objective will be to continue setting up his Honda. In addition, they will have to take into account the “changing time” in Spielberg. “We will have to work well and constantly to make the most of the weekend. We know that it will be another GP of hard work to try to improve and take a step for the future,” he explained.
Joan Mir will also be in Austria, who knows what it’s like to be on the Austrian podium, after adding two victories in Moto3 and a second place in MotoGP. “We came to the Red Bull Ring with the intention of improving on what we did in the previous race. Sunday didn’t go as planned, but overall the weekend helped us to progress and feel comfortable on the bike again. This is the line that we have to follow again and try to maximize the time we have on the track”, settled the Spaniard.
